    The best hotel we have ever stayed at. Every detail excellent. Every staff member: ambassador/greeter, front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, butlers -all outstanding. We mentioned to our housekeeper Jane that a friend was spending the afternoon with us before an event nearby. She offered extra bottled water, and even left extra towels if needed for our guest - we didn't even ask but so thoughtful. Courtesy car took us to our restaurant one night- very nice. We also entertained another local friend for lunch in Astor Court.

    It was the second time I've stayed at the St Regis and both times have been a good experience. The first time we were in a street side room on the second or third floor nonetheless it was very quiet. Also, our luggage arrived on a later flight but the hotel staff brought it right up to the room in the middle of the night when it arrived as we had requested. The second stay I was upgraded to a beautiful suite. Everyone from the reception desk people to the maids and the room waiter could not have been nicer.
